Just Because

I got this in one of those bulk emails but it made me laugh cause it could be true for me sadly! Just wanted to share!

Last night, my husband and I were sitting in the living room and I said to him, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'

He got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my wine.

He's such an ass . . .

Can't Catch a Break

So Drew is sick again- without going into the gross details we have been dealing with a stomach bug from last week that has been dragging on. So this morning we had a Dr. apt for something else and our Doctor sent us to the dreaded ER for a dreaded IV to get some fluids in him for dehydration. Holding down a 2 year old to get a IV put in and then keeping him from ripping it out for 3 hours was LOADS OF FUN- not really but we are home now and the fluids seem to have helped him feel better hopefully the end is near....... off to sterilize some more!

Okay Flashback Friday on Monday! This is a pic of Drew last year I came home from a trip to find a bald kid! Steve gave him his first haircut and he would not sit still so it resulted in a shaved head!

Happy Easter!

Hope everyone had a great Easter! I had to work but I was home in the morning to make pancakes and see what the Easter Bunny supplied for the Easter baskets! I had a great trip as well- I brought some plastic candy eggs on my trip to give out to the kids so that was fun I pretended I found them in my cart- I will do anything to entertain the kids on my flight - well besides singing and dancing! So here is a pic of me on the airplane in one of my new uniforms- I forgot my camera on the first trip!

Pink eye Again? Come on now!

It's not confirmed yet but little Drew has a slightly pink slightly crusty eye this morning. I am fearing the dreaded pink eye again! Its been 3 weeks or so since Derek had it. Eye drops for a 2 year old I am fearing this will not go over well. We are off to the minute clinic to get confirmation once Derek gets on the bus. Hopefully if it is we can get it quick. Derek's went away really quick and I think it is because we took care of it right away! Hoping he just irritated his eye and on top of that I am feeling sick too- sore throat and cough- running was a little harder today trying to breathe- but hey a little cold can't get in my way! Think I am going to have to sterilize my house again.......... fun Monday! ( still on call- please don't call! )

Okay so I am doing a 5k in June! Crazy!
Thanks to Kelly she encouraged me to sign up for a 5k . If you remember I had made one of my new years resolutions to start jogging. So thanks to my favorite mother in law I have someone to do it with me!
I found a great 5k that is for Children's Cancer Research Foundation. Great goal and Great Cause!

I have completed my first week of training and so far so good- I have a long ways to go though!

Just a Sunday afternoon

It's a lazy Sunday afternoon. I am home and on call! Geez I love getting paid to hang out with my family- can't get any better - well a beach and my family might be better but hey that's okay! Just playing around with picnik.com and pictures! Enjoy my munchkins!
